Another rare ten to give away....

The oboe really shines itself here with piano playing simultaneously. Very beautiful and progressive. I think I better get started with using the brass instruments too. :) Very well done.

MusicalRocky responds:

Indeed, I was really trying to utilize the most of the oboe's tenderness, glad it turned out well. :]
You mean winds? lol
Thanks again,
Rocky

A rare 10 stars from me. :)

I'm self-studying orchestra stuffs right now, and to listen to your songs as a guide for my composition never lets me down. How the different instruments blend in together and create peaks in the song is just fantastic. Undescribable feeling....

I think you can easily do commissions to compose film music for big companies. A real talent indeed.

Sweet melody.

The melody flows very smoothly throughout, and it's sweet. The bell you put in, to me, might sound a little off-tune from the melody but still OK. I suggest you to match the volume of both speakers too. It pans to the right, imo.

Wish you luck for MAC. :)

Simple and clean.

A simple ambient style song which gives off a picture. I like how the beat goes, steady and attractive to the ear. The ending makes the song even dramatic. Great use of pad. :)

Smooth.

I knew that a piece like this would make a top 5 of the week. I like how the song flows from the beginning till the end, expressing the visual and emotion throughout. It's beautiful and progressive.

Acoustic?

Pretty great show of guitar solo. The tension keeps the listeners wondering what's going on next. The more I listen, the more I disclose the meaning of the song. Honestly, this'd fit nicely for films. Wonderful job.

Devastus responds:

Thanks alot :D Most likely I will be doing this stuff to some films in near future.

Simply touching!

*Read the quote I wrote above first, most people forget to do so.*

I like how simple this song is, yet it truly express the real emotion. A flute and piano blend well together, especially at the counter-melodies. The last part of the song sounds a little more dramatic due to the percussions you add. A piece pleasing to the ear.

DylanGlow responds:

Thank you Xyirx! A piece that is "Simply touching!" and "pleasing to the ear" are always pieces I take pride in. Thank you very much for taking the time to review and the score!

Makes me smile.

A great loop with funny tune. I could hardly get bored of it. Nice work.

Simply good.

I think this would fit well in the flash movie for casual scenes. You might need to make it a little longer. But so far, I like it. :)

Reminds me of....ah, Castlevania: SOTN.

The tune in some parts are similar to Castlevania tracks which I love very much. Nice chord progression there.

Xyirx offers paths that lead to adventures within your soul. -- Classical, Epic, and Ambient are what use to convey my message. Feel free to listen to my pieces. Piano is my leading melody.
