Sounds like "An Army of One"

I love the melody itself as an intro, making an interesting hookup until you reach the second part of the song (around 0:24) which I like it very much, especially if this is used in battle theme. This song reminds me of your "An Army of One" and also a little bit in FF9 Battle Theme. But over all, I still like your guitar--the way it plays and the way it gives out the feelings/imagery.

NemesisTheory responds:

Army of One, I totally forgot that song XD
I can hear where you're drawing comparisons from as it was a real RPG inspired track too.

I'm glad you likes! :D

Whoa.

A very smart blending of electronica and orchestra indeed. Imho, the loops sound really smooth and the melodies are well written. You sure have a great idea on how to play the different instruments together and make this song as epic as it should be.

ErikPaladin responds:

I like it when you like it, lol \o/

Smooth and soothing

The introduction might be a little rough, but the rest of that, you make it so professionally. I like the vocal too (though it could be less reverb'ed in some parts), very clear and strong. Pads/bass/melodies all fit together very well. I couldn't feel that it's 5 min long!! Very well done, all in all.

ErikPaladin responds:

I liked the introduction, but I have to agree with you that the vocal is a little over-reverbed. Sorry about that =D

Thanks for enjoing it \o/

Nicely done over all.

I see that you've got the clear visual in mind, so you can make the music that is quite "lucid" in telling the picture, though I'd like it to have an apparent peak somewhere in each episode of yours. :) Over all, it's nicely done.

I guess the choir is a sample, is that correct?

Draqo responds:

Nope. Close though.

Thanks for the review. :)

Nicely done on effects, but little flaw there. :)

I like how the beat goes, with all the pads and other effects running on the background. Filled with pace and energy, I listened till the end of the song patiently. I like it, but I have a suggestion--from 2:10 onward, the saws (I'm not sure this is what you call it) are quite loud, and they start to attack each other's melody--destructive, not constructive, in simple words. The rest sounds better than the first one, mainly on the gate effects and other details you've put in.

Mich responds:

Thanks for constructive criticism :p
Maybe I should have mastered a little better near the end :D
The new version is mostly to replace the weak end of the first version :p

Thanks for the 9!
(also stay in touch, I'm working on a new dance/trance track (haven't really figured it out what it's going to be)

Soothing.

Your music tells story clearly. I love the style and how the melody goes. Really soothing and easylistening piece. :)

MaestroRage responds:

^_^ That's what we were going for. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for listening.

Too stormy. ):)

I think, in the first minute where the woodwind kicks in, the storm and rain are too loud, but at the later minutes, they start fading out, especially the storm. The melody and instruments are well picked ('cause they sound natural).

I still wonder why you left the last minute mostly with pure thunderstorm and rain, though it sounds OK. =A=

Anima-Theory responds:

The reason being for the storm was it was designed as a relaxing song for my friend.

Thanks for the review :D

Anima

Eases my ear....

I like the melody and the effects you put in. It goes on and on, and I don't quite get bored at all. I'd categorize this as easy-listening one. :)

Mich responds:

Thanks man, that means a lot to me.
Only to bad that 0-bombers broke down the score >:(
It has been #1 at dance for like 2 hours :P
Again, thanks!

Enchanted by your music.

The whole piece is filled with a theme "friend". I could feel what you see and the image you're trying to portray within. I think it's pretty charming when you play it live (because I could hear the guitar string shifting sound)--it sounds natural and peaceful. The shaker might be a little loud, but that's still OK.

The element I like most is what I "see" in your song, which I find it as a heart of music.

MaestroRage responds:

Hello Xyirx! Thank you for your words. You've seen and recognized the vibe I was hoping to emit! A little bit of a surprise though, the guitars are not live. Though I took painstaking measures to change the velocities of each note and put in the sliding sounds when I thought was appropriate. I honestly don't know if it is possible to play this live, there are some parts which would need 2 guitars, maybe even a third.

Thank you for your review, i'm glad you liked it!

Mysterious.....*shivers

It sounds kinda weird like you said, but I could visualize what I hear. There're a lot of electrical sparks running like a system....whatever my imagination is.

The percussion sounds decent and enjoyable along with synthetic voices.

Macsalad responds:

thanks dude!
have you heard the part from 1:47 ?
that part is way different from the first and worth reviewing I guess.
thanks for reviewing!
