Acoustic?

Pretty great show of guitar solo. The tension keeps the listeners wondering what's going on next. The more I listen, the more I disclose the meaning of the song. Honestly, this'd fit nicely for films. Wonderful job.

Devastus responds:

Thanks alot :D Most likely I will be doing this stuff to some films in near future.

Simply touching!

*Read the quote I wrote above first, most people forget to do so.*

I like how simple this song is, yet it truly express the real emotion. A flute and piano blend well together, especially at the counter-melodies. The last part of the song sounds a little more dramatic due to the percussions you add. A piece pleasing to the ear.

DylanGlow responds:

Thank you Xyirx! A piece that is "Simply touching!" and "pleasing to the ear" are always pieces I take pride in. Thank you very much for taking the time to review and the score!

Vocal....

I don't really think the vocal works well to be honest, but admire your style. How you lay the guitars in is just very good. A second voice (with lower octave) gives a weird feeling too.

SuperMusic responds:

Glad you liked it =). Thanks for the helpful criticism.

A FAST sad song. Fascinating.

People always think that good sad songs should be slow, but you just prove it that misconception. Ideal song for the theme in my opinion. :)

GronmonSE responds:

Thank you.

I...am out of things to say to that, but thanks for the review :D

Can't resist to give a ten.

Strings+piano is a winning combination for me, and you've used them very well. The story you put fits in pretty well with the song. I don't know what to say, this is film soundtrack quality....

Bosa responds:

Ah, thanks. It's too much kindness, really. It's really nothing compared to what others have accomplished, but thanks for your kind words - they really are well appreciated.

It's great, but too steady for 3 mins. ^^;

I admire the use of purcussion for classical scene, and especially for the sad theme. The looping melody is used too often, imho. If you can add more instruments, then this would be even more touching.

Scribbler responds:

Thanks for admiring the percussion, I tried to make this track stand out with that added element. I did experiment with more instruments but after the additions, the track didn't feel the same anymore, I want the track to evoke a certain mood and with more instruments, that mood is just ruined. And what do you mean too steady for 3 minutes? Lol. Thanks for the review.

All you need mainly is just melody. ^^

This one is full of purcussion stuffs. I suggest you to put some lucid melodies in it, so people can hum and enjoy it throughout. Without a melody, it's might be boring. Keep it up.

Use effects and master your track to make it more epic.

chunkycheese12 responds:

Ok thanks, i'm still learning - I really appreciate the advice :)

Really descriptive.

All the sounds you use here can give me the whole picture of what's going on inside your head. I love it very much. :D

Ethalyn responds:

hah, well glad you like it dude:D

Relaxing.

The beginning sounds like "A Long Way Ahead" (or something like that) track from FF7, but the rest of that is very pleasing to the ear. Very nice one. :)

shadowmana responds:

Wow, well I'll definantly have to listen to that song, because I have beaten final fantasy 7 before. Thanks for the review!

Really digital!

First thing I have to say is your samples which are well picked. I could see the future metropolis or something like this. Beats are steady throughout with some effects along the way. Enjoyable.

Psybot responds:

tyvm ^^
