Change your mic. :)

I admit that this song has a very sweet melody that keeps me entertained and smiling throughout. However, with better microphone, and maybe a little bit of mastering and a softer ending, this can be a true masterpiece, trust me.

Too bad it's short. :|

Xylophone?

Strong movement. With different kinds of instruments, I could see that this story has a story to tell....a long story. Each instrument you use has individuality on what it wants to tell the listener. The harmony and counter-melody works quite well also. Nice work.

Spacey

I would have to say that this piece has a spacey feel within it. Maybe it's because of the reverb you put in. However, it's telling a story to me, no doubt. That's something I look from every song I listen. If a song has no meaning, it's pretty dull.

THANK YOU FOR REVIEWING, and I'm really glad you heard the story. As I've been saying in a lot of other responses, girl problems inspire tres magnifique musique, ja.
So thank you for hearing and liking my music, I super appreciate it!!!!

Full

I'd have to say that this song suspends a very strong uplifting bass. (which I think it's too much at times) However, with all the harmonious melodies blending in together, this piece is powerful and epic. Extremely recommended for films.

PhilVille responds:

I'm glad you like it, I think I did put too much into the bass this time i'll try and hold off a little next time.
I hope I can keep you coming back with my later work!

Interesting beat.

I like how the song gets more intense as it progresses, you add in the instruments one by one until it becomes full and rich. Very relaxing indeed.

Spirit-evoking!

You have very steady motif that keeps playing in my head, and I think that's a good example for every composer to take note. Great pieces hold on to a strong and solid motif, yet there are variations blending throughout the song, making a smooth progression and colors.

I think I wish it could be better is the ending. If you can put some piatti and tabular bell there, the song may impress the audience even more. :) I use Roland Orchestral Rhythm, so I know how powerful their instruments are.

Btw, what Vsti (or soundfonts) do you use for other instruments that are not percussions? They sound great too.

I applaud you for making a memorable piece.

blackattackbitch responds:

I soo wish I could change that ending, it didn't come out at all like I wanted it to. It was supposed to be loud and imposing, but instead.....well, you know.

Yeah, R.O.R. is probably my favorite drum VST as of right now, although it wouldn't be much without the help of the drumset from Squidfont and the drumset from Sinfonia.

You can get a complete listing of all my VSTs and soundfonts on my userpage in my newspost. I have no idea how many artists I helped with it because no one ever leaves comments, but I'm pretty sure I've helped a few, at least I hope.

Thanks for the review! And thanks for the compliments!

Soothing as usual.

Pad always calms me down when I listen to your songs. Although, guitars may be a little bit stiff at parts, but I think it gives me the chill and whole new feeling from the song. :)

You prove listeners that simple songs can melt hearts.

PS. There're some treble at some parts. (especially 2:00)

Boux responds:

Allright! glad you like, since you appreciate the music that much heres some other songs of mine i think you might especially like: 'Freefall to europa' 'Song of melancholy' 'New psychology' 'Planetary Scale revolution' 'Jupiter Ignite'.Dont feel the need to review any, just listen and maybe enjoy.
peace. and thanks much for the review.

A bit repetitive

Would you mind dropping in some arps in there while the bass isn't playing, that would make a great technique. You could use renegade technique or inverse technique, so it sounds like the instruments are speaking to each other.

Soothing.

I have passion for acoustic guitar too. Someday, I might consider playing it for my own pleasure....This song has a deep message within, but I couldn't express it in words. It's just touching, you know.

Boux responds:

That why i express it with guitar instead of words, and yeah you should play it, you wont regret. Thanks much for the nice review.

I'm flying and crying.

It's in fact really progressive....Though the chord progression sounds so generic, you make the use of classic sounds and strengthen it with solid bass. I was going to cry any minute when I listen to the flute part.
