I'd say it's like a rock song.

When the drum picks up, one thought comes to me "Oh, it's a rock song".

Well, until I've listened all of it, I think it's pretty good song, though I personally think that its purpose could be different from dancing. :) One thing I'd point is the ending, just like you said. If you could let the drum solo for a few seconds in the end, it might work better.

Uh....

It sounds like Drum and Bass to me somehow, with some elements of techno. It's kinda intense you know. In case you're using this for a short film, it might work well.

However, I suggest you could make some parts connected, not going wild and then stop all of a sudden, and if you can make it loop perfectly, it'd be so cool. :D

Khonjin responds:

thanks :)

Good loop.

I think this makes a good loop, and it deserves more than a 1, so I give it a 4. :) The thing you might wanna fix is looping continuity. It's kinda noticeable when it loops back.

My friends would have broken the stage with this.

Very intense. I don't know how to comment a rock/metal song because I never actually listen to them much. But considering the elements of this kind of music genre, I think you've done very well.

Afterthought.

I could imagine myself watching the sunset on the countryside while listening to this, thinking of something that have been through my life. It's just so relaxing, you know. You can really feel something while listening to this.

eastwood9 responds:

That's fantastic.
If any track I submit proves sufficient enough to spark a feeling in even just one person, I've succeeded in my goals.

Thanks for listening!

Keep my head spinning.

It's an enjoyable dance song, but it lacks elements to create the song whole. All the things I hear are drum loops and arp (with some synth at some parts of the song). I really like the bass at the beginning, but as the song progresses, it lacks the capacity to create a solid bassline (and at parts, it's missing). If you could add more instruments, preferably a pad, more solid arp, and a sharp voice, it'd give a very pleasurable dancing beat.

MmmCake responds:

Thanks for the review! I've tried to remake the song with the help in your comment, hopefully it'll sound better then this, lol.

Good but can be better.

I like how the beats are quite steady, and pad keeps playing, creating a suspense. You could make the saw a little softer though, it'd make a great soaring effect.

Ragestorm responds:

thanks for the advice :D

Break out to tears.

I rarely give 10 to submissions, but this really deserves it. I admit that I like strings instruments more than any other kinds....when it's used to express extreme sadness or happiness. I'm so glad I drop by on this page and listen to this piece. Oh, and what you said in the last paragraph, I think it's true too. It's like you've let your emotion lead you to the fullest, therefore an expressive track is produced.

I wish the end could be better than a fading. Something like slowing down or make this loop-able.

Dj-Flux responds:

Fading was the best thing I could come up with, the fading of emotions. Emotions fade away, emotions that can be strong can be almost nonexistent the next day.

I'm honored, actually, to hear you say that. I love Dragon's Heart, it's such an epic tale. I'm not even in your league yet. xD I'll get there eventually though. :]

Thanks a lot for the review, I'm glad I'm one of few 10's. :]

Steady beats and looping abilities.

I think this is kind of addictive, you know. The beats and melody go well together that rappers could hardly resist to sing something on this.

zenodio responds:

Thanks for the 9...

I could rap to this, if i had a text. And if my voice didn't suck.
I can easily imagine me the flow.

Movement.

This song has really strong beat, minimallistic melody, and trance song layout. I think it's quite enjoyable to listen to and observe what happens in the song. One thing I'd suggest is to put a soft pad in there to make things solid.
